To check out items, browse the collection, select a title, and then enter your library card number beginning with the Gay-Kimball Library's special four digit prefix. Both numbers can be found on the date due receipt you get when you check items out at the library. You will need to do a one time download and install of the free media software.

Announcing the Arrival of MP3 Audiobooks!
The same Audiobooks you have come to know and love (WMA format) are still available. Additionally, MP3 Audiobooks can now be downloaded onto PCs or Macs and played on any MP3 player, including iPods®. WMA Audiobooks can be downloaded, as always, to a PC and played on WMA-compatible players.
From OverDrive Audiobooks : Unfortunately, due to various complaints regarding the performance of the Sansa m200 series devices, we have had to remove the devices from our compatibility list.
NOTE: To review a suggested list of portable devices, click here. Note that in order to use OverDrive Audio Book titles on a device, the device must either support the bit rate of 32kbps or be able to transcode 32kbps files to a supported bit rate. You may want to check device documentation to determine if a device supports protected Windows Media content at 32kbps. Note: If you are using a Pocket PC, you need to have a memory card with sufficient memory space installed in order to transfer audio book files from your PC to your PDA.
