RSS Feeds
RSS feeds are an easy way to keep up-to-date with the goings-on at the library. With an application that can read RSS feeds, you can easily receive updates on things that interest you without having to visit the pages all the time. When you see the RSS feed icon (
), you can copy its address and paste it into your RSS-aware application.
Some applications we like that support RSS include the following:
- Google Reader is a web-based RSS reader
- Bloglines is a web-based RSS reader
- NewsGator for Windows
- NetNewsWire for Mac
- Firefox, the fine web browser, uses RSS for its "Live Bookmarks"
