Members Present: Mame Bisaccio, Kristan Tilton, Rebecca Hackler and Library Director Catherine Callegari

Mame called the meeting to order at 5:05 pm

Kristan motioned to accept the November 4, 2020 meeting minutes as written, seconded by Rebecca   Vote: all in favor

Treasurers Report–   Total Library accounts $10,318

Checking:  $ 6,179            Memorial Fund: $ 653  ( Austin $ 3071 )

Fines: $ 77                            Petty Cash: $338

Librarian Statistics–    

Door count: 525            Meeting Room Usage: 12        Overdues: 32 items

Circulation 1,476           Computer usage: 31              Passive Program & Outreach: 25

Highlights- Activities/ Events

  • Take and Make crafts
  • Grab and go Book and DVC bundles
  • Digital 100s of new magazines are available to the patrons

Old Business

  • Operating Budget- Library budget, Trust funds – on target for expenses
  • Library Covid 19 reimbursement received for 1,263 The relief is from NH Governor’s office from Municipal Relief Fund
  • Total Library Covid 19 cost 1783 minus 1262 relief = 521 from Library budget
  • Mame Bisaccio has been officially sworn in as a GKL Trustee & will assume the role of Chairman
  • Mame will only be serving until the next town election (March 2021) so, she will not go through the TD Bank process of check signing
  • Discussion on vacation time and carry over time policy – the trustees discussed allowing Catherine to submit a payment request to the town in lieu of one of her vacation weeks. Mame motioned to approve 35 hours of paid time, Seconded by Kristen. Vote: all in favor  She will roll over one week as allowed by Library policy and use  the rest of her vacation time by December 31st.
  • Pandemic- the library is still operating at limited capacity with time constraints for computer and library use. Masks are required per the state mandate.
  • Staffing – current staff is covering all shifts while the search for a part-time library assistant continues.

New Business

  • Google docs- discussion on housing Library Trustee documents in one centralized location
