Board of Trustees Meeting May 6, 2020
Members Present: Peg Rouleau, Kristan Tilton, Rebecca Hackler and Library Director Catherine Callegari
Peg called the meeting to order at 4:34 pm
Peg motioned to accept the March 4, 2020 meeting minutes as written, seconded by Kristan Vote: all in favor
Treasurers Report– Total Library accounts $14,993
Checking: $ 11,065 Memorial Fund: $ 653 ( Austin $ 3071 )
Fines: $ 77 Petty Cash: $127
Librarian Statistics- March (closed to the public 3/19/20)
Door count: 565 Meeting Room Usage: 3 Overdues: 13 items
Circulation 2,161 Computer usage: 40 Program & Outreach attendance: 372 (Adults: 69 Children: 303)

Highlights- Activities/ Events
• Library closed effective 3/19/20 due to Covid19 pandemic
• Cancelled book sale and June Wildlife Zoo program due to social distancing requirements
• Social media output enhanced, website updates and youtube channel
• Virtual bingo and scavenger hunt activities
Old Business
• Operating Budget, Library budget, Trust funds – mostly on target for expenses checking into some questions regarding our town administered expenses
• Library was approved for town appropriated 4,000 Expendable Trust fund- may use some for LED lighting
• Building Maintenance- water fountain on hold for replacement due to Covid19
New Business
• Infections disease policy and re-open policy was reviewed and discussed by the trustees. Kristan motioned to accept the proposed policies as written, seconded by Peg. Vote: all in favor
• Staff assigned tasks and duties during closure period has been documented for future reference
• Face shields and masks have been ordered for the staff once reopening occurs
• Discussion on appropriate safety apparel for both the staff and the patrons
• Quarantine of returned books- minimum of 4 days on the quarantine cart before check-in and reshelving
• CiLF grant was received again this year- books for reading programs
• Meeting adjourned 5:45 pm
