Board of Trustees Meeting April 7, 2021
Members Present: Bri Rouleau, Kristan Tilton, Rebecca Hackler and Library Director Catherine Callegari
Kristan called the meeting to order at 4:38 pm
Kristan motioned to accept the March 3, 2021 meeting minutes as written, seconded by Becky Vote: all in favor
Treasurers Report- Total Library accounts $ 11,784
Checking: $ 7,656 Memorial Fund: $ 653 ( Austin $ 3071 )
Fines: $ 77 Petty Cash: $ 327
Librarian Statistics- December
Door count: 377 Meeting Room Usage: 8 Overdues: 21 items
Circulation 1391 Computer usage: 23 Passive Program & Outreach: 107
Highlights- Activities/ Events
• Outdoor extended access smart locker was ordered – for patrons to pick up items off hours
• Spring bingo for the month of April – advertised on the Town Facebook page, library website, social media platforms & sign in front of library
• Troy Elementary School – hand out given to the students on the Library events
• Summer Reading Program – Kick off June 19th Dog Show with canines that can do various tricks
Old Business
Budget
• Operating Budget- on trend as of 3/23 – 19% of the budget has been expended
• Trust fund- 2nd allocation of the trust fund was received and deposited
Maintenance
• Spring lawn clean up – Girl Scout volunteer project
• Estimates being accepted for summer lawn care
Pandemic:
• May book sale will be postponed at this time due to pandemic
• Vaccinations update for Library Staff
• Policy discussion regarding employee quarantine time frames. Kristan motioned to adjust the employee quarantine timeframe to follow the NH DHH’s guidelines in the bulletin dated March 16.2021 Seconded by Becky. Vote: all in favor
New Business
• Trustee offices decided, Chair- Becky Hackler, Secretary Bri Rouleau, Treasurer Kristan Tilton
