Board of Trustees Meeting February 3, 2021
Members Present: Mame Bisaccio, Kristan Tilton, Rebecca Hackler and Library Director Catherine Callegari
Kristan called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm
Kristan motioned to accept the January 6, 2021 meeting minutes as written, seconded by Becky Vote: all in favor
Treasurers Report- Total Library accounts $12,141
Checking: $ 7,944 Memorial Fund: $ 653 ( Austin $ 3071 )
Fines: $ 77 Petty Cash: $397
Librarian Statistics- December
Door count: 444 Meeting Room Usage: 13 Overdues: 25 items
Circulation 1,216 Computer usage: 17 Passive Program & Outreach: 33 (adults 18, Children 15
Highlights- Activities/ Events
Take and make craft – bird seed ornaments with supplies and seeds
New Literacy backpacks with several themes are ordered-funded from summer grant money
Old Business
Operating Budget- Library budget, Trust funds – on target for expenses
Pandemic -we will continue to remain open with the current service model, social distancing effective
– Book quarantine has been changed from 72 hours to 48 hours
New Business
Increase in online check out of magazines and books
Mame motioned to add a COLA increase of 3% in the 2021 library budget to the Library Director’s salary
Seconded by Kristan, Vote: All in favor
The first quarterly disbursement of the trust fund allocation has been received
Meeting adjourned 4:59 pm
