⦁ The town side of the budget shows 56% of town funds available. Catherine will examine copies of phone bills to check on a potential problem.

⦁ Catherine received $135 from a NELA scholarship to cover all but $15 of the registration fee to attend the American Library Association Conference on June 23rd to 28th.
⦁ The “Library Needs Your Help” fundraiser has collected $1,118 for the books on the 50 states. The final 26 titles have been ordered.
⦁ Proceeds from the Book Sale on May 22 and 23rd totaled $617. Surprisingly slow sales for a springtime event. Book sale trends, storage, and possible date changes were discussed.
⦁ The date for the Lutheran Church “Breakfast to Benefit the Library” was corrected to read June 20th from 8am to 10am. Their kind donation will help pay for the remaining state books.
New Business:
⦁ Use of the auditorium for the “North American Birds of Prey” event at Troy Elementary School has been approved.
⦁ Due to scheduling conflicts, a combined July and August Trustee meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd at 5:00 pm.
⦁ Options to allow Library staff to join in the Town Bicentennial parade and festivities were discussed. Catherine will consider choices such as opening the Library later, supplying subs or shift work.
Meeting was adjourned at 4:40pm. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd at 5:00 pm.
