Board of Trustees Meeting June 10, 2021

Kristan called the meeting to order at 5:10 pm
Kristan motioned to accept the May 24, 2021 meeting minutes as written, seconded by Becky Vote: all in favor
Treasurers Report- Total Library accounts $ 8,481
Checking: $ 4,510 Memorial Fund: $ 653 (Austin $ 3071)
Fines: $ 77 Petty Cash: $ 170 (200.00 bank deposit)
Librarian Statistics- December
Door count: 536 Meeting Room Usage: 10 Overdues: 12 items
Circulation 1176 Computer usage: 15 Passive Program/ TES class visits 105 students, 15 adults
Highlights
Catherine’s last day as director June 12, 2021 Catherine will assist as transition facilitator.
Summer Reading Program- June 19- August 1
CLiF Summer Readers Grant- Marty Kelley 6/30 at 11:00 at the Troy Rec Center
Old Business
Town Budget – on target for expenses
Pandemic- American Rescue Plan Act- through IMLS & NHSL – 2,911.00 check coming to be deposited
Mask requirements – Per NH DHHS guidelines masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals in the Library. Staff has the option of wearing them or not.
New Business
Summer Reading Program- June 19th is the Dog Show at the Rec Center. Becky and Bri will take the lead on the event. We will have SRP flyers to sign up for the summer program and books for giveaways.
Kristan made a motion to offer Traci Joy the position of Library Director within the salary range noted in the position description. She will reach out to Traci with a starting salary at $41,750. The offer is contingent on the results of Traci’s State of NH background check. Kristan will advise Traci that the position as Library Directory is a 1 year contract renewable annually based on mutual agreement between the Trustees and Traci. Seconded by Becky Vote: All in favor
