Town of Troy NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Community Development Block Grant Program Monday, July 1, 2013 at 5:00 PM Troy Town Hall
A Public Hearing will be held regarding a proposed application to the NH Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) for Community Development Block Grant funds. CDBG funds are awarded on a competitive basis in NH and must directly benefit low and moderate income people. Eligible activities include housing rehabilitation, certain public facilities and economic development activities.
This hearing has been scheduled to provide residents with specific information regarding grant requirements, and to obtain their opinions about community development and housing needs. Comments will also be heard on the proposed grant application described below and Troy’s Housing and Community Development Plan, and Residential Antidisplacement and Relocation Assistance Plan, which will be reviewed prior to the specific hearings. The proposed project will not result in the displacement of any residential households, business, or other entities.

The Town’s submittal of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application to the NH Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) in an amount up to $90,000 over a one-year period is for Public Facilities improvements. If awarded, the Town will use Public Facility grant funds for improvements to the Town Hall located at 16 Central Square in the Town of Troy.
