Board of Trustees Meeting
November 4, 2015 – at 4:00 pm
Members Present: Yvonne Peters, Allan Bailey, Charleen Hoefsmit

Treasurer’s Report: Checking – $2,466 Fines -$745, Memorial Fund – $637, Petty Cash – $364 Grand Total: $4,212
Librarian’s Report: Door count: 1,285, Circulation: 1,468, Computer Usage:102, New Patrons: 5
Old Business:
- The budget remains on track with 16.32% of Town Funds available. Weather permitting, heating fuel may not need to be re-ordered before year end.
- The 2016 budget reflects vacation pay and salary overlaps pertaining to the change in Library Directorship. It also includes an anticipated increase in oil, electric and phone expenditures.
- With TD Bank closing in Troy, decisions regarding whether to stay with TD Bank (or switch to a new provider) in Keene will be left to the discretion of the new Director & the treasurer.
- Interview times for the Director position have been scheduled.
- October’s Book Sale produced $1,160 in revenues, helping the expected yearly numbers to remain roughly intact (despite the unexpected “low” from sales in May).
- The Trustees voted “Yes” to Catherine’s proposal to remove patron’s “overdue book” fines as a special “Thank-You” to the townspeople of Troy for making her tenure at Gay-Kimball Library so memorable.
- Allan Bailey will be checking into details regarding the Library’s Insurance coverage.
New Business:
- Selectman Updates confirmed salary increases for town employees in 2016.
- Holiday Hours will be as follows: Thanksgiving Eve & New Year’s Eve the Library will be closing at 5pm. The Library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day.
Other Business:
- Allan moved that the trustees go into non-public session per NH RSA 91-A:3,II, (b)
Motion carried unanimously.
- Allan moved that the minutes of the non-public session be sealed permanently.
Motion carried unanimously.
Trustees returned to public session at 5:30pm and immediately adjourned. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2 @ 4:00 pm.
