PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN OF TROY

Monday, August 29, 2016 5:02 p.m.

Selectmen Present: William T. Matson, Allan Bailey and Barbara Guelcher

 

Chairman Matson called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.

Public Hearing to accept Gift from Elizabeth Giorgianni in the amount of $821,500.

Chairman Matson read the statement from Dana Drake

Trustee, Norman Dion asked what the gift could be used for

Chairman Matson stated that the in the will it was not specified.  The Select Board is going to set-up meetings with committees in town and see where it should be used.

Janet McCullough – Did we get a copy of the will.

Chairman Matson stated that we did get a copy and the NH Charitable Trust advised us on how to proceed.

Chairman Matson asked if there were any more questions or comments.
Chairman Matson MOVED to close the Public Hearing at 5:20 pm SECOND Selectmen Baily      VOTE unanimous
