PUBLIC HEARING ON ADDITIONAL HIGHWAY BLOCK GRANT MONEY
Chairman Bailey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Jason Horne, Richard Wright, Lynn Smith, Kyle Smith, Dan Sypek
Chairman Bailey stated that this meeting is to accept the $47,471.58. It has to be used for town roads or bridges and is non-lapsing. Mr. Dicey would like to take the money from this year’s highway block grant, next year’s block grant and the additional block grant to do the West Hill Rd and Tolman Rd project. Mr. Dicey wants to put in two warrant articles one would be to reclamation the road and the other would be shimming the road. Chairman Bailey asked how long does shimming the road last. Mr. Dicey stated 10 years. Chairman Bailey asked how long reclamation would last. Mr. Dicey stated 20 years.
