Chairman Bailey opened the meeting at 6:30 pm.
Chairman Bailey, Selectwoman Guelcher and Selectman Hopkins by conference call

Chairman Bailey MOVED to accept the Selectmen’s meeting minutes from August 7, 2017 Selectwoman Guelcher stated that the wrong house number was on the Richmond Rd complaint. Selectwoman Guelcher MOVED to accept the Selectmen’s meeting minutes from August 7, 2017 with the address change SECOND Chairman Bailey VOTE unanimous
Chairman Bailey announced there will not be a Selectmen’s Meeting next Monday, August 21 and the Selectmen’s Office will be closed August 21st and 22nd.
Chairman Bailey announced Library Trustees will start interviewing August 20th for the Library Director Position.
Selectman Hopkins stated that August 18, 2017 the Troy Recreation Committee is having a movie night at the Samuel E. Paul Community Center.
Job Descriptions – Paula Mathews is coming in on August 28th to speak with the Select Board.
Richmond Rd Complaint – Letter is being sent out Deadline September 14, 2017.
West Hill Rd Complaint –Deadline September 7.
Troy Mills Parking Lot – In March the rent was up. Chairman Bailey asked Mrs. Fox to call Shane’s Trucking and see what his intentions are.
207 Richmond Rd – Letter is signed and sent deadline September 14, 2017.
Additional Highway Block Grant – public hearing to accept the money on August 28, 2017 at 6:45 pm.
29 School St, Jason Horne – Mr. Horne didn’t realize that he needed a permit for the second driveway. Chairman Bailey explained that it is a second curb cut and he will need to go to the planning board. Selectman Hopkins stated then to the Zoning Board of Adjusters after that for a variance or an adjustment. Mr. Horne asked what his next step is. The Board stated to fill out a driveway permit and have Mr. Dicey deny it then it will go to ZBA. Mr. Horne will be back on August 28, 2017.
Amie Patel, Bill Hutwelker – Central Sq Market – Mr. Patel wants to open the Central Sq Market and wants to make sure there isn’t anything he needs to do for the Town before he can do this.
Mr. Patel will be getting a lottery license and a license to sell beer and wine. Selectwoman Guelcher asked if they would be doing renovations to the building. Mr. Patel stated that they
wouldn’t right now but will eventually. Selectwoman Guelcher asked if it would be a 1st hand merchandise store. Mr. Patel stated that yes he gets his groceries from C&S Wholesalers.
Selectman Hopkins stated that there will be a boaters safety course at the Samuel E. Paul Community Center on August 26, 2017 the cost is $40 and is an all-day course.
