SELECT BOARD MEETING  MINUTES

TOWN OF TROY

Monday, June 20, 2016 5:00 p.m.

Selectmen Present:  Barbara Guelcher, Allan Bailey and William T. Matson

Selectmen Matson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Selectmen Bailey MOVED to accept Selectmen’s Meeting minutes from 6/13/16  SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous

Chairman Matson MOVED to have Alissa Fox get ahold of Tim Stebbins to meet with Select Board in regards to a complaint that came from a tenant at his property located at 62 Marlborough Rd SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous

5:15 pm Ryley Pelto & Richard Pelto – Offer of $20,000 from Ryley Pelto for the Pelto’s Barn Property. The Select Board will discuss it and get back to them. Select Board handed Richard Pelto letter about removing Quonset hut on his property.

Discussion on Ryley Pelto’s offer of $20,000.  Chairman Matson MOVED to have property go back to auction SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous

July 23rd Auction for Lloyd and Pelto’s Barn Properties

Flowers for Town Hall Steps – Selectwomen Guelcher purchased the flowers and would like to be reimbursed for this cost.  The Select Board is okay with the reimbursement.

Selectwomen Guelcher spoke to Janet McCullough about Map 12 Lot 3 and it has come known that this property is Ridley’s Real Estate that also owns Map 12 Lot 11.  Map 12 Lot 3 has been on the same tax card for many year.

Granite St Turn Around – Meridian’s estimate came in.  Selectmen Bailey thinks it should be a right-of-way. Selectmen Bailey will come up with an amount for the price to offer the landowner.

Website Update – waiting on all scanned paperwork from Selectmen’s Office.  Mrs. Fox will send a message to Bruce Summers in regards to if he is still interested in doing the Town website.

Employer Picnic – September 11th, 2016 from 1:00 – 5:30 pm.

Jim Dicey – Mr. Dicey spoke to the Janitor. He wants to lock up the closet at the Recreation Center.  It should be locked so people don’t keep going in there.  The shelf was overloaded this weekend and fell off the wall. Chairman Matson MOVED to delegate this situation for Selectwomen Guelcher to handle SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous

Monuments – Selectmen Bailey is going to legion meeting the 29th to talk to them about the monuments.

Selectmen Bailey  MOVED to adjourn at 6:05 pm SECOND Chairman Matson VOTE unanimous
