Selectmen Present: Barbara Guelcher, Allan Bailey and William T. Matson

Selectmen Matson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Selectmen Bailey MOVED to accept Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes from 5/31/16 SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous
Troy Ambulance – Press release for Troy Town News being updated. Mark Huntoon received the transport license for the Ambulance. Chief Huntoon had a working day on the Ambulance. The Ambulance was gone thru and all cleaned. Ordered new supplies. The Ambulance is set-up like the Fitzwilliam’s Ambulance so they are interchangeable.
Peter Paul Letter – Send both Thank you letters.
Bob Norton, Recreation Committee – Mr. Norton is not happy with the bill from DA Brothers, it was more than what was originally quoted. Chairman Matson MOVED to allow Mr. Norton to negotiate discount from DA Brothers SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous Mr. Norton gave an update on the summer program sign-ups. There are about 30 children signed up if everyone returns their sign-up sheets.
Beaupre Property – Conservation Commission and forester are going to create a butterfly park.
Bill Rogers – Objected to having the Memorial Day programs not on the common. Selectwomen Guelcher told Mr. Rogers that the festivities committee will take over the Memorial Day ceremony next year. Mr. Rogers thinks there should be another formula for the Elderly Tax Exemption. Chairman Matson let Mr. Rogers know that when KRT comes out we will have them look at the house.
5:45 pm Kim Munoz – Assessment was $11,000 lower once KRT came and looked at the interior of the house. Next meeting Select Board vote on an abatement for 2014 & 2015 taxes for difference.
Pelto’s Barn – Betsy Kivallea called Chairman Matson and stated that Richard Pelto put up a Quonset hut with no building permit and it is right on the edge of the road. There is also an abandoned trailer on the property. Katherine Sandman complained about right on side of road and bus has a hard time getting through. Chairman Matson took a ride up to the property and seems that the man living in the house on the barn property is now gone.
Fishing Derby – Selectmen Bailey MOVED to post Public Fishing is prohibited in Sand Damfromthe time the pond is stocked till after fishing derby completion SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous
Chairman Matson MOVED to approve loan through Savings Bank of Walpole for the cruiser payments as was approved at Town Meeting Second Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous
Chairman Matson MOVED to have Police Dept. to issue forfeiters for unlicensed dogs SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous
Chairman Matson MOVED to tax deed Fish property at 166 Bigelow Hill Rd SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous
Joann Baxter – Alissa Fox try to get ahold of Mrs. Baxter to see if she can come in to talk about her property that is going to tax deed.
Jessie Quigley – Mrs. Fox contact the Quigley’s to come in to talk about their unpaid taxes.
Vacant Building Registration – TABLED
