Chairman Bailey opened the meeting at 6:30 pm.

Chairman Bailey MOVED to accept the Selectmen’s meeting minutes from September 11, 2017 SECOND Selectwoman Guelcher VOTE unanimous
Announcements:
- Recreation Committee meets Tuesday at 7:00 pm at the Samuel E. Paul Community Center
- Planning Board meets Wednesday at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall
- Recreation Committee is hosting a vehicle maintenance class on Saturday from 10am – 2pm at the Samuel E. Paul Committee Center

Jason Horne, 25 School St – Mr. Horne did some research online. Mr. Horne is going to just have parking on the lawn instead of going forward with trying to get a second driveway approved. Mr. Horne would like to know what he needs to do for it to not be a second driveway. Chairman Bailey stated that he would just say it’s not a driveway. Chairman Bailey stated we needed to wait from NHMA to find out if it would be an exception or a variance.

Chairman Bailey read the letter that was received from the Select Board of the Town of Fitzwilliam for all of Marcy Johnson’s help with vehicle registrations when their Town Clerk was out. Letter from Troy Board of Selectmen going to Marcy Johnson.
Wayne Santos from Center Barnstead sent an email to Jim Dicey about his question that went out to several Towns about how they deal with issues with people’s GPS sending them down Class VI roads. Mr. Santos’s letter stated they have the same issue.
Grants Workshop in Keene – 2 day work shop. No one to send to the class.
Selectwoman Guelcher gave the Chairman Bailey and Selectman Hopkins a copy of some ordinances that should be rescinded.
Mrs. Fox called Discount Oil to lock in price for oil for the heating season since no bids were received. Discount Oil will lock in at $1.999 a gallon.
