TOWN OF TROY

Selectmen Present: Howard M. Sheats, Jr., and Gideon L. Nadeau, Sr
Chairman Sheats called the workshop to order at 6:06 p.m.
New Board for Troy Redevelopment Group
Present: Richard Thackston, Michael Walsh, Allan Bailey, Mikel Steadmen, Lisa Stearns, Robert Stearns, Rebecca Hackler
Chairmen Sheats gave a brief history of the last few months involving Troy Mills Property. He stated that the previous TRG Board resigned at Town Meeting. Three weeks after that Mr. Hanson was withdrawing from the Town and that would leave the Town paying for all of Troy Mills expenses. The Select Board reached out to Mr. Hanson and he gave the Selectmen a proposal in return the Select Board gave him a counter proposal. Mr. Hanson agreed to extend the deadline to May 30th, 2015 to give the Select Board a chance to put together a new TRG Board. The Selectmen shared that they did tell Mr. Hanson that he would be purchasing the Troy Mills property from TRG and not the Selectmen.
Mr. Thackston MOVED to nominate Mr. Walsh president of the TRG SECOND Mr. Bailey VOTE unanimous
Mr. Walsh accepted the position as president of the TRG
Mr. Thackston MOVED to nominate Mr. Steadmen treasurer of the TRG SECOND Mr. Bailey VOTE unanimous
Mr. Thackston MOVED to nominate himself the secretary of the TRG board. SECOND Mr. Bailey VOTE unanimous
