SELECT BOARD MEETING  MINUTES

TOWN OF TROY

Monday, April 18, 2016 5:00 p.m.

Selectmen Present:  Barbara Guelcher, Allan Bailey and William T. Matson

Selectmen Matson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Selectmen Bailey MOVED to accept the Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes from 4/11/16 with changes SECOND Chairman Matson VOTE unanimous

5:17 pm Marge Shepherdson – Wanted to come in to meet the new individuals on the Select Board.  Mrs. Shepherdson wanted to give a quick update on what’s going on in Concord.

Aaron Patt Abatement – Have KRT check abatement request

Richmond Road Paving – Chairman Matson MOVED to accept bid to pave Richmond Rd from Arlington Paving in the amount of $154,000 SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous

End of Granite St turn around – letter from Carol O’glive suggesting to use the vacant land across Street from 42 Granite St as the new turnaround for the Town during snow season. Chairman Matson will call the owner of the property.

Pelto’s Barn Auction – Mrs. Fox get paperwork over to Attorney Little on the Pelto Auction results

Emergency Management Dept. Meeting – Mrs. Fox schedule a dinner for the ambulance, fire, police, James Dicey, Robert Hebert to have a meeting with the Selectmen

Peter Bastoni – Mrs. Fox set-up time for Mr. Bastoni to come in and meet with the Select Board in regards to his RV being lived in.

Chairman Matson MOVED to accept personnel policy as is with formatting changes SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous

Vacant Building Registration – Mrs. Fox format to fit Town of Troy

6:35 pm Kim & Juan Munoz of 265 Monadnock St – Mrs. Munoz stated that they could afford to pay $300 a month towards their back property taxes and $4000 once a year when Mr. Munoz gets his yearly bonus in March or April.  The Select Board had agreed to let Mrs. And Mr. Munoz pay $300 a month and the $4000 bonus yearly as long as they paid all of their 2013 property taxes of $1840 within 60 days.
