SELECT BOARD MEETING  MINUTES

TOWN OF TROY

Monday, May 16, 2016 5:00 p.m.

Selectmen Present:  Barbara Guelcher, Allan Bailey and William T. Matson

Selectmen Matson called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.

Selectmen Bailey MOVED to postpone Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes approval from 5/9/16 till further notice SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous

Ransmeier & Spellman P.C. letter in regard to Beaupre.  Select Board accepted letter

Pipeline invoice – Chairman Matson MOVED to have Alissa Fox draft letter with same dollar amount that Brookline invoiced for to send to Kinder Morgan SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous

Beaupre Court Case – May 27, 2016 at 9:00 am at the Superior Court in Keene.

Michael Maurer, 103 High St – Mr. Maurer owes back property taxes.  Chairman Matson stated to Mr. Maurer that Alissa Fox would get connected with social services to find somewhere else to live.

Discussed ongoing matter with Troy Ambulance Inc.

Jordan Beal Building Permit at 68 Tolman Rd – the Select Board needs to ask James Dicey if a driveway permit was given.

Chairman Matson MOVED to wave the fee for the building permit for the Habitat for Humanity house at 117 Prospect St SECOND Selectwomen Guelcher VOTE unanimous

Chairman Matson would like Habitat for Humanity fill out the electric & plumbing contractors on the building permit.

Shane Ellis from Shane’s Trucking –  Oil was leaking in the Mill parking lot where Mr. Ellis is renting.  Mr. Ellis stated that he burst a line and that is the only reason why there was oil in the parking lot.  Mr. Ellis cleaned it up.

GFA – Chairman Matson spoke with the Tax Collector, Marcy Johnson, and her thought on the courier service is that it is really not favorable. The Select Board would like Mrs. Johnson and the Treasurer, Janet McCullough to come into the next Selectmen’s Meeting and meet with them to discuss the banking.
