Selectmen Matson called the meeting to order at 1:25 p.m.
Present: Bruce from Certified Ambulance Group, Fire Chief Mark Huntoon, Nancy Carney
Chairman Matson updated Bruce from Certified Ambulance Group on what had happened with Troy Ambulance Inc.
Chairman Matson asked Bruce from Certified Ambulance Group what the billing process is. Bruce responses was that it goes to Tempsis then to Certified Ambulance Group and then to insurance company.
Nancy Carney explained how the ambulance get insurance info for billing paperwork. All insurance information comes from the hospital.
Nancy Carney said Diluzio bills quarterly to the Towns for their service for paramedics being called out.
Chairman Matson requested from Bruce at Certified Ambulance Group a list of what the Ambulance charges for their service.
Bruce at Certified Ambulance Group explained that we are waiting on the NPI number to come in so that we can start billing the insurance companies. There is a 2 week backup on getting this number. Once that comes in all billing that has not been billed will be billed.
